Bob McQuade lived a life defined by reinvention, creativity, and quiet brilliance. Born in Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts, he was both deeply personable and comfortably independent—a man who could master almost anything he set his mind to. From cost engineering to professional golf, and later contracting and gallery ownership, Bob never stopped exploring new paths.

His talents were many, but art became his truest expression. Best known for his photography, Bob was also a gifted painter whose watercolors and acrylics found homes with collectors across the country. In his later years, he embraced a nomadic life, traveling in his motorhome with three loyal Maltese companions, capturing the beauty of coastlines, mountains, and wildlife along the way.

Even after a diagnosis of multiple myeloma in 2017, Bob remained resilient, continuing his travels and returning to New England for a final journey through the landscapes he loved most. He left behind not just memories, but a remarkable legacy of creativity.
