Recent Wins Worth Mentioning

We hope everyone had a happy and joyous Christmas and New Year celebration. Being part of an Italian family, ours was filled with noise, great food and Stephanie’s famous platter of Christmas Cookies.

Every month we are blessed when our artworks find new homes. Not that each isn’t special, but these two deserve a spotlight.

Just before Thanksgiving, Stephanie was commissioned to create a pastel painting of a beloved pet. Once the artwork was completed, we digitized it to produce a personalized greeting card to accompany the art, then carefully matted and framed the piece in a wooden frame with non-glare glass. This thoughtful gift made Christmas morning truly unforgettable for a special member of this caring family.

It is always great to have a collector request a piece of art from either of us. This one sale of “Red Sky in the Morning” was a little more special. Visitors to Nubble Light usually view it from Sohier Park. The person who purchased this framed image just prior to Christmas is a descendant of the Boston native that donated the land to York, Maine and for whom the park is named.
